In addition to providing nutritious foods and education, WIC also provides referrals to other agencies. There are many resources in the community to help each family meet its needs. The programs mentioned below are located in Utah County or nearby.

Intermountain Healthcare Lactation Consultants

Board Certified lactation specialists are available to answer questions for mothers who breastfeed or anyone who would like more information through the warmline. A hands-on clinic is also available for consultations.

Intermountain Healthcare Prenatal Breastfeeding Class
Provides low cost breastfeeding classes.

La Leche League

Provides information about breastfeeding.

Pregnancy Risk Line

Provides information regarding risks to the baby in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Utah County WIC Breastfeeding Support Line
Provides breastfeeding support by phone or in person to Utah County WIC participants. Provides other breastfeeding services by WIC employees with breastfeeding training.
