Pandemic Plan Planning for a potential pandemic is an important part of preparation, not only for individuals but agencies as well.  The state and federal plans, while a work in progress, have been published so local agencies can make their own preparations.   Please click the link below for the National Strategy for Pandemic Influenza. National Strategy for Pandemic Influenza (in pdf format)   The state of Utah's strategic plan can be found at: http://www.utahcountyonline.org/apps/WebLink/Dept/HEALTHPREPAREDPANFLU/UDOHpandemic_influenza_plan.pdf   The Utah County Health Department is currently working with our partners to finalize our own response plan.  It is hoped this plan will be presented to the Utah County Board of Health and County Commissioners in the near future for review and approval.   Obviously, all plans are a work in progress, and will grow and evolve as we find out more about potential pandemics, what has worked in other areas, what new resources or technologies might be available, and new needs are identified to help protect our citizens, community and economy.
