Sexually Transmitted DiseaseThe primary goal of the STD Control Program is to identify and treat infected persons and their sexual contacts exposed to gonorrhea, syphilis and chlamydia in order to decrease the rate of new infections and to prevent the serious consequences of these diseases. Program efforts support screening, examination, diagnosis, education and epidemiological follow-up of known or suspected infected individuals. Through educational efforts directed towards middle and secondary schools, the STD Control Program is also increasing public awareness, understanding and support for STD prevention. Walk-in Clinic: Wednesday 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm For accurate chlamydia, gonorrhea, or syphilis test results, client should not have taken antibiotics in the past two weeks. For treatment of previously diagnosed genital warts, please call (801) 851-7025 for an appointment. Se habla espanol |
