BYU Student From Nevada Dies in Fall

A BYU Student from Fallon Nevada died when he fell while free climbing at Steward Falls above Sundance in Provo Canyon.

June 02, 2012. At approximately 12:37 pm today, a call came into dispatch of a 22 year old male who had fallen at Stewart Falls. This is an area just behind Sundance ski resort. He was there with 7-8 friends, when he decided to free climb near the falls. He fell approximately 70 feet while climbing. Others in his party rendered immediate aid. North Fork Fire Department and Utah County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue also responded. All efforts to revive him were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead on the scene. The young man was a current BYU student, Adam Perazzo, from Fallon, NV.
