A Springville woman has died after she was struck by a passing motorist. The area where the crash occurred was not well lit and the woman was wearing dark clothing.
PRESS RELEASE - January 17, 2018: On January 16, a few minutes after 7:00 PM, Deputies with the Utah County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to 1910 East Evergreen Road, near Springville, on a report of a pedestrian who was struck by a car. This area is a narrow two lane road that is not well lit. The woman was carrying a flashlight but she was wearing dark clothing and the driver was unable to see her. Springville first responders transported the woman to Utah Valley Hospital in Provo where she later died. Speed and impairment do not appear to be factors in this crash and this incident is still under investigation. The victim is Codi Lambresi, age 42, of Springville.
