Heads Up: Concussion in Youth Sports was developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to help protect the safety and wellbeing of individuals involved in youth sports. Resources are available to coaches, parents, and young athletes on how to prevent, recognize, and respond to concussions and other brain injuries.

The CDC’s Heads Up app gives instant access to information on how to recognize and what to do if you think your child may have a concussion or other serious brain injury.

Features include information on helmet selection, brain injury basics, safety tips, and additional materials.
