Utah State mandates that tobacco compliance checks be conducted four times yearly at every tobacco retailer in the valley in order to reduce the number of illegal sales to underage youth. It is our hope that you, as a responsible community business entity, will assist in our efforts.

Providing tobacco to minors is a Class C Misdemeanor making it a criminal offense serious enough for arrest.  Educate your employees about the penalties that follow a violation.   Free “We ID Everyone” guides and materials are available at Tobacco Free Utah or through the Utah County Health Department.
