

Transportation Division
It is the goal of the Utah County Sheriff’s Transportation Division to transport inmates, both pre-trial and sentenced, in a safe, secure and humane manner. Care will be taken to protect the safety and security
of the public, staff, and inmates during all transports. Reasonable efforts will be made to avoid public display of inmates.
The Utah County Sheriff’s Transportation Division is a component of the Corrections Administration
( Jail Support Services). The Transportation Sergeant supervises daily transportation activities. All transportation deputies possess a Commercial Drivers License (CDL). In addition, all transportation deputies are required to complete annual Emergency Vehicle Operation (EVO) training.
The Utah County Sheriff’s Transportation Division is located in the Utah County Security Center at 3075 North Main, Spanish Fork. Daily duties include transporting prisoners to court, medical appointments, state prison runs, inter-jail movement as well as any other such movement involving County inmates. During the course of a year, the Utah County Sheriff’s Transportation Division is responsible for approximately 50,000 inmate movements.
