Riding and Helmet Safety Each year thousands of people die and thousands more are seriously injured in bicycle, scooter, roller blade, and skateboard collisions. The most serious collisions involve head injuries. A single rule - wear a helmet - can reduce the risk of head and brain injury by as much as 88 percent. Resources are available.
