Willow CoveOur Willow Cove facility provides transitional housing for abused women and children. Occupied since November 1994, these duplexes are close to grocery stores, schools, churches, and bus lines. The duplexes are in a tranquil location and the perpetrators of the abuse are not allowed on the property. With our Willow Cove facility, we provide housing to many women and children who have resided at the Women and Children in Crisis Center. Women and children can reside at Willow Cove until they find longer term housing options. Many residents move to one of our Public Housing units (see separate pages related to Public Housing). Willow Cove residents can also participate in the Family Self-Sufficiency program through the Section Eight Housing Choice Voucher Program (see separate page on Family Self-Sufficiency). The following organizations provided funding for Willow Cove construction: ▸ U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development Special Purpose Funds |
