ABOUT US Who are we? We are a board, commissioned by the Utah County Commissioners to conduct a "County Fair" for the year 2008. Who is in charge? Jay and Carol Harmer of Pleasant Grove are co-chairmen of this year's fair with the help of the entire Fair Board. All of us are volunteers. Why a Fair? Our mission statement: Utah County Fair Mission Statement To provide a wholesome, entertaining venue where individuals, families, businesses and groups can come together to have fun, be entertained and learn about each other. Where talents, goods, services and products of Utah County can be showcased and celebrated. Where all citizens of the County can gather to honor and show appreciation for the many contributions of all. Where aspiring artists may introduce themselves and their talents. It is for this cause we dedicate our efforts. What is this year's theme? "Building the future on the foundation of the past." How was the Fair funded? We are funded with seed money provided in the County Budget with the goal of becoming as self-sufficient as we can. How do I volunteer?
