The Housing Authority of Utah County provides housing assistance to persons who meet program income guidelines. Income limits vary by program. Our mission is to provide affordable safe and sanitary housing in our community. Several programs help us accomplish our mission:

1. We subsidize rent to private owners in behalf of program-eligible persons and families.
2. We own 130 apartments and duplexes throughout Utah County that we rent to program-eligible persons and families.
3. We weatherize homes to provide comfort and safety and reduce energy costs.
4. We lend funds on very affordable terms to homeowners for approved repairs and modernization.

Victims of domestic violence, the elderly, handicapped and families may be eligible for certain preferences. The Department of Housing and Urban Development furnishes our major funding. We are a political subdivision of the State of Utah. A five-member Board of Commissioners oversees our programs.

The waiting list for the Section 8 Rental Assistance Program is now closed. No applications will be accepted until further notice. The Housing Authority of Utah County will continue to accept applications for any Housing Authority owned properties, please contact us for more details.
