MISSION STATEMENT
| Property taxes are the principal source of local revenue available to a county to finance their operations. State & Federal funds, grants, miscellaneous fines, fees, licenses, permits and taxes produce the additional revenue essential for the mandatory and non-mandatory functions of county government. The County Treasurer is required to bill, collect, invest, safeguard and disburse revenue from property tax collections. We do this on behalf of approximately 45 taxing entities. These include three school districts, the local cities, the county, special service districts, and redevelopment agencies within the geographical borders of Utah County. |
