MISSION STATEMENT
| The goal of the Utah County Division of Substance Abuse is to reduce the harmful effects of alcohol and drug use in Utah County. Our range of services to achieve this goal includes: prevention, early intervention, treatment, and the continuing process of recovery. |

Richard Nance, MSHHA, MSW, LCSW
Director

| Richard is a graduate of the Brigham Young University School of Social Work MSW program. He also holds a certificate from the University of Utah in the Treatment of Alcohol and Drug Abuse and the degree of Master of Science in Hospital and Health Administration from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He has been the Director of Utah County's Division of Human Services since 1998. |

Bruce Chandler, LCSW

| Bruce is a graduate of the University of Utah with a Masters degree in Therapeutic Recreation. He is also a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor, and has worked for Utah County since 1995. Bruce is responsible for the Utah County owned and operated treatment programs. |

Diane Sutton

| Diane manages all the financial aspects of the Division's operations. She is also reponsible for data services, demographics and reporting. She has worked for the Division since 1998. |

Gordon S. Bruin, MA, LPC
Program Services Manager |
|

|
| Gordon received his Masters degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Addiction Studies from John F. Kennedy University in Orinda, California. He is also a Licensed Professional Counselor. Gordon has worked in the substance abuse field since 1991. His primary responsibilities are for contract treatment programs, women's treatment programs, and youth drug court programs. |

| Pat is licensed by the State of Utah as a Substance Abuse Counselor and has extensive experience working with youth in juvenile probation and juvenile justice service programs. |
